Just half an hour from Whitehorse, but on the edge of the wilderness, the Hotsprings Valley Retreat Centre is the perfect home base for your weekend adventure. The Centre is both rustic and luxurious.
The main lodge houses the dining room, meeting areas, kitchen and washroom facilities. A dozen cabins around the lodge provide accommodation on a double occupancy basis. Walking outside from your cabin to the washroom along the wooden boardwalk at night gives you a chance to check out the northern sky for the aurora borealis!
Carla Pitzel and Garry Umbrich will be our hosts. Carla is a fabulous cook and the meals are always great! The weekend meals will be a set menu taking into consideration food preferences noted on your registration form. Wine and beer are available for purchase with meals.
The Centre embodies environmental principles and this is reflected in their recycling practices, food preparation and composting toilets. The only washroom facilities are in the main lodge.
